Terms of Service

1. Clinical Responsibility

ENT Scribe generates AI-assisted clinical notes to support - not replace - physician judgement. All AI-generated content must be reviewed and verified by a licensed physician before being entered into any electronic health record (EHR) or used in clinical decision-making. The physician assumes full clinical and legal responsibility for any note submitted to a patient record.

2. No Warranty

ENT Scribe is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcriptions or generated notes will be accurate or complete. Use is at your own risk.

3. Acceptable Use

• ENT Scribe may only be used for lawful clinical documentation purposes.
• You must not record individuals without their knowledge or consent as required by applicable law.
• You must not use the service to store, process, or transmit data that violates HIPAA or any applicable privacy regulation beyond what the platform is designed to handle.
• Automated access, scraping, or reverse engineering of the platform is prohibited.

4. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used in a manner that poses a risk to other users or third parties. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ENT Scribe and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to clinical errors resulting from AI-generated notes.

6. Software Licence

ENT Scribe is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1). The source code is publicly available for review, self-hosting for non-commercial use, and educational purposes. On March 5, 2030, the licence automatically converts to MIT.

ENT Scribe offers three usage tiers:

• Free Trial - 5 clinical notes using platform-provided API keys, no setup required.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) - add your own Anthropic and Deepgram API keys in Settings for unlimited usage. You pay the AI providers directly.
• Managed Deployment - white-label or practice-wide installations with custom branding and EHR integration.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of ENT Scribe after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
